Killer crystals of the famous iridescent "rainbow" garnet var. andradite from Kohse mine, Tenkawa village, Japan. It displays one dominant crystal, decorated with a smaller one. The crystals have a pleasing tobacco color with razor-sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit and strong luster. They have a gorgeous natural iridescent coating. The locality is strictly prohibited for collecting so the specimens are rare. In very good condition - some minor nicks and base contacts. On acrylic base.
