A pleasing weloganite crystal from the locality which produced the best specimens for the species in the world - Francon quarry, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The crystal is an irregular barrel shaped hexagon with a flat tip. It has growth striations and yellow color. Small quartz crystals decorate the cap. It displays all over 360 degree. The mine is closed since decades and this is a nice piece. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
