A jewel crystal of gem vesuvianite from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The perfectly terminated crystal is water clear and gem. It is 9mm in length. It has a pleasing and vivid apple-green color. The luster is very strong and the crystal is transparent and glassy. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.
