A pretty specimen of red, flattened, tabular hexagonal crystals of vanadinite beautifully growing on baryte rosettes from the famous Mibladen Mining District, Morocco. The vanadinite crystals have an attractive orange-red color and strong luster. The crystals are sharp and well isolated. Vanadinites contrast well on the white to black base. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. For references the issue of The Mineralogical Record - Vol. 44, No. 3 May - June 2013. In very good condition – some minor nicks and base contacts. On acrylic base.
Wonderful!
