A killer and very rare twinned, gem spinel crystal type "Star of David" from Mogok Township, Myanmar (Burma). It displays a sharp, flat crystal with spinel law twinning. It is gem with a rich and vivid blood-red color. The faces are lustrous. Complete all over floater.  For references see the 2022 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 53, # 1. In superb condition.
