An outstanding specimen of rich cobaltoan calcite from the famous Katanga Copper Crescent, Democratic Republic of Congo. The piece is not examined so it could be and cobaltoan dolomite. It displays sharp rhombohedral crystals with an amazing and vivid fuchsia color to yellow brown zones and a strong luster. They are transparent and gemmy. The piece is very sparkling. The bottom is sawed. In excellent condition – some outside edge contacts.
