Cool quartz var. amethyst crystals from Kakamunurle Mine, Tamil Nadu, India. They are sharp, well shaped, clear and glassy. The crystals have an intense and irregular purple color to some colorless areas at the base. Some crystals are reverse scepters - the stems are thicker while the tips are thinner. High quality specimens from Tamil Nadu are very scarce and this is a choice piece. Complete all around 360 degree. In good condition – some contacts at the bottom part and small nicks.
