Marvelous thumbnail vesuvianite crystals with raspberry caps from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The well terminated crystals are gemmy. They have a color variation from light purple to saturated and rich raspberry-fuchsia caps. The color intensity varies depending the observation angle.  The luster is very strong and the crystal is transparent and glassy. Some are doubly terminated.
