A beautiful specimen of gem augelite crystals to 10mm from the famous phosphate deposit of Yukon. The augelite is a rare mineral and some of the finest come from this locality. The crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed and a light green color to colorless. They have a good transparency and gemminess. The main crystal forms an aesthetic focal point. For references see the 1992 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 23, # 4. In excellent condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
Choice augelite!
