A wonderful specimen of fluorite covered with pyrite and quartz from El Hammam Mine, Morocco. The fluorite cubes to 20mm are translucent, pastel-green, sharp and lustrous. Atop grow small and chunky, isolated quartz crystals, which gives a frosty appearance like frozen morning dew. They are completely transparent and colorless. That is why when looked sideward they appear glassy and colorless but at normal display they are green due to the fluorite beneath. The final touch is a vivid layer of glittering golden-yellow to brown-red and purple micro pyrite crystals. Calcite form the base. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts.
