A colorful specimen of rich blue carletonite from this famous locality Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. The carletonite is one of the very rare mineral species unique for the type locality Mont Saint-Hilaire. It occurs only there and none has been found for many years. Crystals are not often seen and most of the pieces are just cleavages. It has from rich royal blue color to lighter blue. Some faces are well formed and lustrous till other are contacts.
