A gorgeous specimen of gemmy lazulite crystals from the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon, Canada. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. The lazulite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo blue color measuring to 15mm. They have gemmy areas with marvelous blue-green color variations. Brown siderite crystals are seen too. It displays all over 360 degree. In very good condition – some small nicks and base part contacts. On acrylic base.
