A cool prehnite specimen with an attractive display from Matia, Kayes Region, Mali. It comes from the renowned collection of Rock Currier, USA with a label. The label indicates that it was acquired in 2010. It shows two prehnite balls, growing one atop another. One of them is much bigger. They are well isolated, complete all over, translucent with a light green color. The quality of the piece is very good. For references see the 2011 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 41, # 3.
