A killer crystal of crocoite from the famous type locality Berezovsk deposit, Russia. It is 27mm with a vivid and rich orange-red color. The crocoite is razor sharp. It has acute terminations. The quality is superb – the crystal is lustrous to some more matt faces. For references see the 2016 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 47, # 4. In excellent condition – some minor nicks. On acrylic base.
