A superb specimen of mirror-metallic galena crystals from Krushev dol mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. The mines in Madan produce some of the finest galena in the world and this is a fine piece. It beautifully displays sharp well formed flat faces spinel law galena twins and cubic crystals. They have an excellent brilliance and mirror luster. They are colored with very small and sparkling orange crystals of dolomite or siderite (needs to be examined). That adds a marvelous contrast and colorfulness. Small quartz crystals enrich nicely the display. Black sphalerite forms the base. It shows attractively all over 360 degree. Better in person. In excellent condition.
