A killer specimen of cuprite crystals partially pseudomorphed by copper from the famous Poteryaevskoe Mine, Rubtsovskoe Cu-Zn-Pb deposit, Russia. It displays sharp cuprite octahedrons growing in a cluster. Some areas of the cuprite have been replaced and pseudomorphed by copper, keeping the octahedral shape. The cuprite has a very strong luster and light reflection. Complete all over. For references see the issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 45, # 4, July-August 2014. In excellent condition.
Exceptional pseudomorph!
