A neat specimen of goethite pseudomorph after marcasite from White Desert, Egypt. The marcasite crystals were formed in the sea bottom and after completely replaced by goethite. It still displays the sharp shape of the primary marcasite crystals. The color is black to brown. Show all around – 360 degree specimen. In very good condition – some small contacts.
