A beautiful specimen of axinite-Fe, epidote and quartz from Sayan, Huaura province, Peru. The axinite-Fe crystals grow in attractive clusters. They are sharp, slightly gemmy with a brown color and a strong luster. The quartz crystals are transparent, sharp and lustrous. The epidote grows in sprays of needle crystals. It has a rich olive-green color and pearly luster. The contrast is strong. It displays aesthetically all over 360 degree. In excellent condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
