A killer small specimen of superb kulanite crystals over lazulite from Rapid Creek - the famous phosphate deposit of Yukon, Canada. Kulanite is very rare barium, iron, aluminum phosphate and this is the type locality. The main kulanite crystal has a very good size for the species - 7mm. It has a very dark (almost black) oil-green color and a strong luster. It is well shaped and sharp. The lazulite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, with a bright blue color. The crystals are gemmy. The main kulanite crystal forms an excellent focal point at the top. Some contacts. On acrylic base.

World grade quality kulanite!
