A pretty specimen of gem spessartine garnet crystals to 12mm from Tongbei, China. The spessartines are transparent with a rich orange-brown color. They have a sharp trapezohedral habit. The faces are medium lustrous with nice striations. Black smoky quartz is seen too. Some contacts.
