Killer gemmy cuprite crystals with a razor sharp octahedral shape and bedazzling luster from the famous Katanga Copper Crescent, Democratic Republic of Congo. It comes from the collection of the famous French collector Gilles Emringer, with a label. The cuprite specimens from the Mashamba West Mine in are among the finest for the species. It displays a top quality cuprite crystals growing in a cluster with perfect geometry, metallic faces and super mirror luster. On a strong day and halogen light the crystals display an amazing gemminess. They have a gorgeous and rich wine-red color.
