A marvelous iridescent goethite from Graves Mountain, Lincoln Co., Georgia, USA. These are often called “turgite”. It comes from Skittles Pocket. It has a botryoidal habit with glittering purple, fuchsia, blue, green and yellow variations, which gives superb rainbow coloration.
