First grade quality, slightly gemmy lazulite crystals from the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon, Canada. Actually this specimen comes from a new locality in Rapid Creek area – Mt Seafoam. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. The lazulite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo blue color measuring to 17mm. They have gemmy areas with marvelous blue-green color variations.
