A mesmerizing specimen of red, flattened, tabular hexagonal crystals of vanadinite, beautifully growing on white baryte rosettes from the famous Mibladen Mining District, Morocco. The vanadinite crystals have an intense dark red to red color and a strong luster. The crystals are sharp and well isolated. The piece is fresh and sparkling. Vanadinite contrast strongly on the white background. For references the issue of The Mineralogical Record - Vol. 44, No. 3 May - June 2013. In excellent condition - some minor imperfections.
Striking beauty!
