A mesmerizing specimen of sparkling rhodochrosite from this famous locality - NChwaning I Mine, South Africa. It displays lustrous and fresh rhodochrosite crystals with a light pink color to some orange nuances and smoky areas. They densely cover the first generation of pink botryoidal rhodochrosite. Some small dark manganese clusters are seen too. For references see the 2017 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 48, # 1. In excellent condition.
