A mesmerizing specimen of sparkling rhodochrosite crystals from this famous locality - NChwaning I Mine, South Africa. It displays strongly lustrous and fresh rhodochrosite crystals with a rich pink color to some orange nuances and smoky areas. They densely cover the first generation of pink botryoidal rhodochrosite. The crystals have a sharp scalenohedral habit and a good transparency. For references see the 2017 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 48, # 1. In excellent condition.
