A pleasing specimen of very unusually colored in olive-yellow-green garnet var. andradite var. topazolite crystals to 1 mm from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. This specimen comes from a small find and due to its color can be identified as variety topazolite. The andradite crystals are transparent, gem quality with a superb luster. They have a sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. The garnets are bright and very sparkling. Inside some crystals are seen green phantoms. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.

Marvelous!
