A killer specimen of high quality dioptase crystals to 17mm from a new find in this uncommon  locality - Loutete, Bouenza Department, Republic of Congo - Brazzaville. The dioptases are strongly glassy lustrous with a gorgeous dark emerald-green color and very sharp, perfectly terminated crystals. Many are doubly terminated. The quality is superb - the crystals are gemmy with marvelous neon-green nuances. It is complete all over. In excellent condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
