An outstanding specimen of elongated transparent quartz crystals decorating sphalerite and calcite from the famous Madan ore field, Bulgaria. The quartz crystals stand in very elegant tridimensional sprays. They are sharp and form super focal points. Some needles are doubly terminated. The sphalerite crystals are black with a good luster. They are sharp tetrahedrons to 28mm. White calcite cast adds a nice accent. It displays beautifully all over 360 degree. The bottom is sawed. Much better in person. In excellent condition – some small damages.
