A cool gem corundum var. sapphire crystal from Ratnapura, Sri Lanka. It displays a 10mm single sapphire crystal. It is with an irregular hexagonal shape.  The sapphire is transparent and gem with a blue color to colorless at the center. It is lustrous and light reflective. In very good condition – one minor nick at the back top. On acrylic base.
