A marvelous specimen of evansite with pleasing blue color from Wenshan, Yunnan, China. Evansite is a rare phosphate. These are among the world's best for the species from a recent find. It displays a blue color to some white areas. The crystals are irregular with a botryoidal habit. It shows all over. In excellent condition.
