A superb small crystal of very rare getchellite from Twin Creeks Mine, Nevada, USA. Surprisingly it does not come from the type locality Getchell Mine in Nevada, which is not far away. The quality of this find overpasses the Getchell Mine specimens. It displays a platy crystal with lustrous faces and dark red color. It is well shaped on both sides. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
