A striking specimen of high quality dioptase crystals to 20mm from a new find in this uncommon  locality - Loutete, Bouenza Department, Republic of Congo - Brazzaville. The dioptases are strongly glassy lustrous with a gorgeous dark emerald-green color and very sharp, perfectly terminated crystals. The quality is superb - the crystals are gemmy with marvelous neon-green nuances. The main crystal sits on a small base and it forms an excellent focal point. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. In excellent condition – some micro nicks. On acrylic base.
