A sculptural specimen displaying smoky quartz crystals standing attractively over the base and decorated with gem spessartine garnets from Tongbei, Fujian Province, China. The spessartine crystals to 3mm have a rich orange color. They have a sharp habit and glassy luster. The quartz crystals are sharp, lustrous, transparent and clear with a smoky-black color. In very good condition – some small nicks.
