A beautiful specimen of azurite with malachite pseudomorph decorated with water clear quartz crystals from Mecissi, Morocco. The transparent quartz crystals grow vertically over a base of lenticular azurite forming nice rosette aggregates with a dark royal blue color. Some azurite zones are pseudomorphed by green, velvet malachite. This gives a superb contrast. The quartz crystals are razor sharp and well formed. It displays from all sides. Repaired – but it is very clean and not visible. On acrylic base.
