A fabulous specimen of rich pink rhodochrosite decorated with quartz and sphalerite from this less known Bulgarian mine - Starnitsa deposit, Davidkovo ore field, Rhodope Mts. It comes from a new find. It displays marvelous tender pink colored rosettes of rhodochrosite forming attractive clusters. The rhodochrosite is sparkling. Colorless, transparent and sharp quartz crystals form the base. Black sphalerite is seen too. In excellent condition - some minor damages. On acrylic base.
