A marvelous specimen of zunyite crystal, sitting aesthetically on a small matrix, from a recent find in Qalat-e Payeen (Qalat-e Bala) salt dome, Bandar Abbas, Iran. Zunyite is a rare mineral. The quality is outstanding and these are among the best zunyite crystals ever found. It displays a complete tetrahedral zunyite crystal of 12mm. It is sharp with a pleasing brick-red color and pretty beveled edges. The most amazing aspect is the geometrical perfection. Minor sparkling black hematite crystals are seen all over. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.

Fine zunyite!
