An outstanding specimen of arsenopyrite, ferberite, quartz, fluorapatite and siderite from the famous Panasqueira mine, Portugal. It displays a sculptural combination of shiny arsenopyrite flower sitting at the top of transparent quartz crystal, sharp ferberite, tabular fluorapatite crystals and minor siderite. The gorgeous radial sprays of lustrous arsenopyrite form an excellent focal point. The arsenopyrite is with a sharp crystallization all over 360 degree. The quartz crystal is razor sharp, well definite, water clear and glassy lustrous. The black and sharp ferberite crystals are lustrous. Lustrous and gemmy fluorapatite crystals are partially covered with cream-yellow siderite. For references see the 2014 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 45, # 1. In excellent condition.
Beautiful!
