A killer specimen of honey-orange colored grossular garnet crystals to 6mm from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals are transparent, gem quality with a strong glassy luster. They have a rich and saturated honey-orange color - pure orange water. The grossular has a rhombic dodecahedral habit with sharp crystallization. One small diopside crystal is seen too. It displays beautifully all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In good condition – some nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
Fabulous!
