A sparkling specimen of gem hessonite garnets with clinochlore from Bellecombe, Aosta Valley, Italy. The hessonite crystals to 2mm are gem, with a rich orange-brown color. They have sharp crystallization with strong luster and nicely reflect the light. Green clinochlore rosettes are seen on the back side. It displays attractively on both sides. In very good condition – some side contacts. On acrylic base.
