A killer top quality vesuvianite specimen with intergrowing crystals sticking out all over from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The perfectly flat terminated crystals are gem, up to 15mm in length. They have an amazing color variation from apple-green centers to saturated purple to striking and rich fuchsia at the caps. The luster is very strong and the crystals are transparent and glassy. That is the most intense color which the mine produced. The colorfulness of the specimen can leave you speechless. Crystallized on all sides. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some contacts.
Among the best vesuvianite color in the world – a real eye candy!
