A marvelous specimen of gem hessonite garnets decorated with diopside crystals from Bellecombe, Aosta Valley, Italy. The hessonite crystals to 3mm are gem with a rich orange-brown color. They have a sharp crystallization, a strong glassy luster and nicely reflect the light. Diopside crystals grow atop, giving an aesthetic finish. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
