A beautiful specimen of azurite with malachite pseudomorph growing on a water clear quartz crystal from Mecissi, Morocco. The cap of the sharp and elongated quartz crystal is covered by lenticular azurite. The azurite forms nice rosette aggregates with a dark royal blue color. Some azurite zones are pseudomorphed by green, velvet malachite. This gives a superb contrast. It displays attractively from all sides. In very good condition – some contacts at the base of the quartz crystal. On acrylic base.
