An amazing gem quality specimen of V twinned diaspore from a new find in Selcuk, Mugla Province, Turkey. These classic Turkish diaspores are considered to be the finest examples of the species. It displays a marvelous dichromatism. Depending the light source it is from tobacco-green to violet. The crystals grow in a superb V twinning. The diaspore blades have strong transparency and gemminess. They are very sharp and highly lustrous, with nice striations. It shows on both sides. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
