A gorgeous specimen of gem, high quality dioptase crystals from Reneville, Kindanba District, Pool Department, Congo - Brazzaville. It comes from the famous Gilles Emringer, France with a label. The crystals to 13mm are strongly glassy lustrous with a rich dark emerald-green color and very sharp, perfectly doubly terminated crystals. The quality is superb - the crystals are gemmy with marvelous neon-green nuances, well isolated and they contrast strongly on the colorless quartz base. Better in person. In very good condition – some minor nicks and outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
