Fine and rare specimen of pyrargyrite from the Oruro, Bolivia. It comes with a label and a box from "Les Fils d'Émile Deyrolle". Émile Deyrolle was a famous 19th-century Paris dealer in natural history specimens. The fourth generation of the family, Émile Deyrolle's sons, took over the business by 1896. The piece shows very good sharp crystals, growing in an attractive cluster. They are lustrous to matt and they show some iridescence. Some contacts and nicks. On acrylic base.
Historic pyrargyrite!
