An outstanding skeletal galena crystals from a small new find in Krushev dol mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. The mines in Madan produce some of the finest galena in the world and this is a killer specimen. It displays very attractive stepped growth, forming gorgeous terraced structures of spinel law twins. The crystals are razor sharp, well formed, superb flat faces galena twins with excellent brilliance and light reflection. The morphology is very unusual and it resembles more of hematite or acanthite. White calcite grows on the back side. Minor sparkling chalcopyrite crystals are seen too. In superb condition.
