An attractive specimen of baryte from a new find in Marsanges Mine, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France. It displays one sharp tabular baryte crystal of 24mm, sitting on a white quartz base. It has a vivid yellow color and a strong, sparkling luster. It has a rhombohedral shape and multiple terminations. Some bluish fluorite is seen too. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
Cool!
