An attractive specimen of spiky quartz cluster decorated with probably weathered rhodochrosite coated by unidentified brown mineral from the famous Madan ore field, Bulgaria. It displays attractive pointy quartz spears with a strong luster. They are sharp and elongated. They are from translucent to transparent. Brown colored, weathered rhodochrosite rosettes grow above. It shows aesthetically all over 360 degree. In excellent condition – some small nicks and contacts.
