A gorgeous cluster of gemmy dioptase crystals to 10mm from Pimbi hill, Mindouli, Republic of Congo - Brazzaville. This specimen was mined more that 30 years ago by a geologist and stored. The crystals are strongly glassy lustrous with gorgeous dark emerald-green color and very sharp, perfectly terminated crystals. The quality is superb - the crystals have gem areas with splendid neon-green nuances. Better in person. In very good condition - some minor nicks and outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
